What is Plagiarism? Well, it’s not as simple as you might think. Sometimes, you might be plagiarizing without knowing it. In short, plagiarism is taking someone else’s work and passing it along as your own. The easiest way to avoid this is to use quotations if you use someone else’s words, and make sure you add their source to your Works Cited page. After each quotation or paraphrase, you should also include an in-text citation that shows where you got the information from in that source.
